Absence of Clarity

The abundance of detail doesn’t necessarily provide a sense of understanding or help facilitate a sense of security, instead it’s often purposely used to delude, divert, and occult rather than clarify.

This is one of my favorite pieces from session #36 with Nisha. Every time it surfaces in the pile of papers, I find myself smiling. It’s strait forward, simple, and has just enough complexity to keep my eye moving across the image, shifting back and forth between the pink and green, there’s a reference to foreground and background that plays out successfully
