Implication of Temperament 

I could choose to spend this time drawing literally anything, but this is an example of what is being chosen. It’s not simply about the content, but the composition, the marks, the visual weight, the pallet of value. The growing stack of drawings isn’t unlike a Rorschach test, what does the developing pattern imply? Lately, the dark moodyness of drawings like this seems to attract my attention more so than images that have a more narrative feel to them. Suspicion has that it’s unconsciously topical with the current events of the quarantine, but it’s more likely reflective of my base line temperament.
