A questioner’s default mode of engagement is to question that which presents itself, not to uphold a system without an understanding, or oblige an arbitrary viewpoint. A questioner needs to find understanding through challenging what is said to be understood and often finds new understanding in what’s been accidentally misunderstood. In seeking truth, one eventually finds that very little that is held meaningful and certain, is in actuality, truth.
Given to this reasoning, a strict adherence to what is seen as truth is an excersize in the constraint of both free will and imagination, neither of which serves to motivate the soul towards transcendence. Questioning the given leads away and into the head.
